Stephen Seifert: “Common Late Night Jam Tunes You Need to Know“ (Friday, Session 5, Mountain Dulcimer, Level 3 - Intermediate) 10MD091
If you own a capo, have it ready.
Most good jams start with a few beginner tunes and then move on to at least an hour of intermediate tunes. When it gets late, these tunes regularly come out to play. I’ll make sure you can learn them. A review video is included.

Stephen Seifert: “Four Contest Level Arrangements“ (Friday, Session 6, Mountain Dulcimer, Level 5 - Advanced) 10MD150
Whether you’re into competing or not, these contest appropriate tunes are instructive, fun, and impressive. I’ll show you all the techniques you need to know. A review video is included.
—————————
Stephen Seifert: “German Folk Music Favorites and Performance Practices“ (Saturday, Session 1, Mountain Dulcimer, Level 3 - Intermediate) 10MD090
If you own a capo, have it ready.
These are well known songs with beautiful, playable melodies. Besides helping you get them down, I’m going to show you some tricks I’ve gleamed from studying this music, tricks to make the simple much more interesting in ways you’ve probably heard your whole life. A review video is included.

Stephen Seifert: “Three Gorgeous Waltzes“ (Saturday, Session 2, Mountain Dulcimer, Level 4 - Upper-Intermediate) 10MD132
If you own a capo, have it ready.
These are three of my favorite waltzes. They really show off what the dulcimer is capable of. Whether you’re strumming, flat-picking, or finger-picking, I’ll give you what you need to keep the dancers dancing. A review video is included.
—————————
Stephen Seifert: “Master Six Simple Jam Tunes“ (Saturday, Session 3, Mountain Dulcimer, Level 2 - Novice) 10MD042
It’s not hard to get you playing these common jam tunes, but I want to show you how to have fun with them. I want to show you how to play these in a way that makes them much more interesting. With these six, you can probably play with dulcimer players anywhere. A review video is included.
—————————
Stephen Seifert: “Introduction to Irish Ornaments“ (Saturday, Session 6, Wind Instruments, Level 2 - Novice) 10WND004
Irish Whistle
Standard advice is to learn the basic tunes before working on ornaments. I think it’s important to at least appreciate what the basic ornaments sound and feel like to make basic versions WITHOUT ornaments much more relatable. We’ll cover slides, cuts, strikes, rolls, and crans. A review video is included.
