Janita Baker of Blue Lion "Janita and her husband Bob own Blue Lion Guitars and Dulcimers. Janita is an arranging wizard for a number of four-string tunings. Her recordings are at the top of my list. My third dulcimer was a Blue Lion Force - d'Ossch‚ six-string chromatic. I've also owned one of their chromatic bass dulcimers. The workmanship on these instruments is as close to perfect as humans can get. If you happen to be looking for a chromatic, you can trust Robert and Janita to get it right. Janita's inlay will blow you away. These are wonderful instruments."

Mike Clemmer "While most folks know Mike as a builder, he really is a fine player. You've got to hear him on one of his Ban-Jammers. Mike made my Ban-Jammer, a cross between a dulcimer and a banjo. Mine is set up four-string-equidistant so I can use the closest melody string as a drone string when I'm playing clawhammer style. He recently started making his regular dulcimers a little deeper resulting in a richer tone."
